Our Terms and Conditions are established to ensure clarity and mutual understanding of responsibilities among all involved parties, preventing any potential setbacks.
We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but efficient planning is crucial to avoid unnecessary expenses or inconvenience. Hence, these terms and conditions serve to guarantee smooth operations, accurate information, and appropriate resource allocation for fulfilling your requests as agreed upon.
QUOTATION & ORDER
1.1 All provided quotations remain valid for 30 days.
1.2 The Customer accepts the quotation by placing an order within the specified period.
1.3 Placing orders for Goods and Services signifies acceptance of the Quotation under these Terms and Conditions.
1.4 Quoted prices may be subject to change or additional charges if certain factors weren’t considered during quotation preparation.
1.5 If discrepancies arise between the provided information and the actual requirements during booking, additional charges may apply to cover extra time and labor.
1.6 In case of underestimation of the move size or requirements, additional charges will be applied at our discretion.
1.7 Failure to accept the quotation within 30 days will result in the quotation expiring.
1.8 Delay in service beyond 3 months from the acceptance date of the Quotation due to customer reasons will require reevaluation of the service terms.
1.9 Services provided on Saturdays, Sundays, or Public Holidays, not previously agreed upon, may incur additional charges.
1.10 Additional services not initially included in the quotation, such as appliance disconnection, furniture dismantling, cleaning, etc., will result in extra charges.
1.11 Any obstruction preventing free movement of goods, requiring additional work not included in the Quotation, will result in additional charges.
1.12 Parking charges, fines, toll roads, or other government levies incurred during transportation will be borne by the customer.
WORK NOT INCLUDED IN THE QUOTATION
2.1 Unless explicitly agreed upon in writing, the Contractor will not perform certain removal services, including appliance disconnect/reconnect, carpet/floor coverings handling, furniture assembly/disassembly, etc.
2.2 The Contractor will not move or store prohibited items listed in section 3.1 to 3.7 unless previously agreed upon.
2.3 Any additional work not specified in the booking confirmation, unless authorized by the Supplier, will result in separate invoicing.
RESTRICTED ITEMS NOT TO BE MOVED
3.1 Certain items are prohibited from removal unless previously agreed upon and inventoried in writing.
3.2 Prohibited items include valuable items, dangerous goods, and items likely to cause pest infestation, among others.
3.3 Any doubtful items should be discussed and approved by the Contractor before the move date.
OWNERSHIP OF GOODS
By entering the contract, you declare ownership of the goods to be moved or storage, or appropriate authorization from the rightful owner, and agree to indemnify the Contractor against any claims arising from false declarations.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
5.1 Prices specified in the Quotation, inclusive or exclusive of GST and other applicable charges, are subject to change.
5.2 Payment terms outlined in the Proposal must be followed, with clearances required upfront and upon completion of services.
5.3 Failure to finalize payment before the move date may result in postponement, cancellation, or additional charges.
5.4 Various payment methods are accepted, with credit card payments incurring a merchant service charge fee.
5.5 Delayed payment may lead to service postponement, cancellation, or additional charges as per agreed terms.
BOOKING DATE
6.1 The provided move date confirms the contract, and any changes may incur charges as outlined in section 7.
6.2 Risk for the goods transfers to the customer upon delivery.
CHARGES IF YOU POSTPONE OR CANCEL
7.1 Charges for postponement or cancellation vary based on the notice period provided.
7.2 Failure to conclude the job within 3 months of the booking date may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
TITLE
8.1 Goods remain the property of the Supplier until full payment is received.
CUSTOMER’S OBLIGATIONS
Customers must cooperate with the Supplier, provide necessary information, obtain required permissions, and ensure Site readiness as specified.
RIGHT TO HOLD THE GOODS
The Contractor reserves the right to withhold or dispose of goods until additional costs, if any, are settled.
GOODS IN STORAGE
Customers must provide contact information for goods in storage, and failure to respond to communication attempts may result in public notices and additional charges.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Liability is limited to the price for the Goods and Services, excluding indirect or consequential losses.
FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to events beyond their control.
SEVERANCE
Invalid provisions will be severed, while the remaining terms remain in force.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Australian law.
